0. 기본적인 비교급 변환

1) 기본적인 비교급 - 최상급
  (1) good - better - best
  (2) bad - worse - worst
  (3) easy - easier - easiest 
  (4) cute - cuter - cutest 

2) 2 음절 이상일 경우
  - more을 붙여줌 
  (1) beautiful - more beautiful 
  (2) exciting - more exciting 
  (3) important - more important

1. The 비교급, the 비교급 

- 기본적인 구조: the 비교급 S + V, the 비교급 S + V 
- 주의할 점: 
   (1) 형용사와 부사의 올바른 비교급을 사용할 것 
   (2) more(less) 형용사(부사)의 형태로 함께 움직임 
   (3) 형용사적으로 쓰인 more이 명사를 수식할 때는 함께 움직임 
        - the more books we read, the more we learn (O) 
        - the more we read book, the more we learn (X) 
   (4) "the 비교급 + 주어 + 동사, the 비교급 + 주어 + 동사"의 어순은 항상 유지됨 

◆ Examples) 
  - The less, the better: 더 적을수록 더 좋다 
  - The sooner, the better: 빠를수록 더 좋다. 
  - The more I see her, the more I like her: 그녀를 볼수록, 그녀가 더 좋아져. 
  - The more you have, the more you want: 더 많이 가질 수록, 더 많이 원한다. 
  - The more you share, the more you have: 더 많이 공유할수록, 더 많이 가진다. 
  - The more you work, the more you earn: 더 많이 일할 수록, 더 많이 번다.
  - The higher you go up, the hotter the temperature rises: 더 높이 올라갈수록, 온도가 더 뜨겁게 올라간다. 
  - The more people there are, the cheaper it is for each person: 사람들이 더 많이 있을 수록, 각각 사람마다 더 싸질 것이다. 
  - The earlier you wake up, the more chances you got: 일찍 일어날수록, 더 많은 기회를 얻을 수 있다. 
  - I think the more you smoke, the more you are addicted to it:  내 생각에는 담배를 피울수록, 더욱 더 담배에 중독되는 것 같아. 
  - The more you like yourself, the less you are like anyone else, which make you unique
  - The more you believe in your ability to succeed, the more likely it is that you will

2. As ~ as 비교급

- 기본적으로 형용사나 부사를 강조하기 위해서 사용됨 
- ~할수록 ~하다

 1) 

◆ 자주 쓰이는 관용구 
 (1) as soon as possible: 가능한 빨리 
    - I will be there as soon as possible
 (2) as often as possible: 가능한 자주 
    - I should speak English as often as possible 
 (3) as soon as S + V: ~하자마자 
    - Please call me as soon as you get there
